EARTH DAY
Spring Cleaning Day
April 20, 2018
Spring cleaning is a day of service for our students at St. Malachy.
During Spring Cleaning, the younger students pick up trash and sticks while the older students rake the lawns, along the fences, and around the buildings. The students should dress appropriately for the day. In other words, they should wear clothing that is ok to get dirty and they should bring gloves. This will be a hat spirit day for $1.
Another important item that is required of 3rd through 8th grade students is a lawn rake. Please take a moment to put your name on the rake to be certain your rake comes home.
Lastly, we are asking each student to donate $1 to the cleaning day. These funds will be used to purchase large flower pots, soil and flowers for the front entrance of the school.
Thank you for providing your child with essential items to make this day fun and rewarding.
